About

After completing her Master's degree in the September of 2021 in electroacoustic music/sonic art (quite a mouthful right), Rachel wanted to pursue a career in which she actually used the skills that she had learnt in her education.

Having completed an undergraduate degree in Music before this, where she specialised in composition, this area seemed like a natural course to pursue. However, the fact that the subject matter of her Master's degree combined the areas of sound and music meant that a two pronged career path was formed. Working in both sound design and composition Rachel was able to draw on her wealth of knowledge in both areas, with her background in one often aiding her when working in the other.

Now she is a professional freelance sound designer and composer, working mostly in games, but also delving into film and other media as well. Most recently she has worked on the sound design and music for the games Keystone Library, Heroes of Holdem, Stumble Upon Rumble, Match 4 Crush and Boom Quest.
